The blockbuster action flick The Mummy (1999) stars Brendan Fraser as an adventurer who, along with his librarian wife (Rachel Weisz) and her ne’er-do-well brother (John Hannah), awakens an ancient Egyptian mummy (Arnold Vosloo) while excavating a tomb. Now they must face killer insects, plagues, and the angry undead. Venezuelan model-actress Patricia Velasquez treats us to the sight of her curvaceous form clothed in a fishnet outfit as the mummy’s mistress in a flashback from fourteenth-century BC Thebes. Nice pyramids!
