The Music Lovers (1971) is the story of classical composer Tchaikovsky's life and music. In director Ken Russell's own words: "It's the story of the marriage between a homosexual and a nymphomaniac." Richard Chamberlain plays the baton-twirler, and Glenda Jackson is his wife who can't get enough of his flesh baton. Russell imagines this biopic like a wet dream, which comes to a skinful climax with Glenda fully naked on the floor of a wildly rocking railroad car. The sight of her overgrown bush is music to our eyes.
