Shannon Tweed has developed quite a body of work for her quite developed body. She's turned the thriller into something far more thrilling, as in The Surrogate (1984), where she plays a frigid wife—proving this blonde bimbo has range. Her husband takes her to a sex therapist, Carole Laure, which brings out suppressed sexual fantasies, and off come the clothes. Especially hot is a bathtub masturbation scene that is very steamy. The thriller part is a subplot involving a transvestite killer whose victims are friends of the couple. Is there a connection? Who's the killer? When will Shannon and Carole get naked again? All will be revealed.
