The unmoored years during a shiftless youth are a time of endless possibility but fraught with an often imperceptible peril. Brunette, precocious, listless, a young woman of contemporary Rome lets the weeks and months fall behind her, consumed by languor and a loose routine of clubbing, walking dogs for money, and crawling in and out of bed with whatever men momentarily catch her passing fancy. This easy existence takes on a distant view of responsibility when the sweet-faced slacker agrees to follow and monitor a dog-walking client’s eccentric father during his daily wandering.
