Set in destitute rural Illinois in 1957, the drama Walker Payne (2006) stars Jason Patric as the titular womanizing ex-con whose ex-wife (Drea de Matteo) won’t let him see their two daughters unless he pays her the $5000 she needs to go to nursing school.
