Nominated for best short film at the European Film Awards, the Goya Awards, and the Gaudí Awards in 2019, Suc de síndria, the second Spanish-language film from photographer and director Irene Moray centers on Bàrbara (Elena Martín) and Pol (Max Grosse Majench), who are sharing a house with friends while on vacation in Catalonia. The couple is still able to find some private moments to themselves, both going au naturale in nature and stripping down for some sexy bedroom time, though not all their alone time is happy. But there’s plenty of laughter to balance out the tears and even more nudity on top of that from the extraordinary Elena.
