Zandalee (1991) didn’t make a star out of Erika Anderson, but she’s a true skinematic icon in the titular role. She’s very believable as a wild New Orleans gal bored by her poet-turned-yuppie husband Judge Reinhold. When his wild artist pal Nicolas Cage comes to town, Erika’s quick to indulge in some adulterous antics. This daring film doesn’t bother with any kind of happy ending. Fortunately, it also doesn’t waste any time with modest simulated sex. Nic and Erika indulge in the kind of serious banging that should’ve garnered this film some serious attention.
