She was the first black supermodel, but Beverly Johnson never had the same luck in Hollywood. The posing pioneer became the first African American woman on the covers of American "Vogue" and French "Elle", before the Buffalo born beauty opted to spread her wings and head for Hollywood. After a couple of television roles on shows like Martin and Law & Order, Beverly combined comic skill with a killer bod in films such as Loaded Weapon 1 (1993) and The Meteor Man (1993). But we take her sole starring role very seriously, since Beverly stripped down to do some skinny dipping in Ashanti, Land of No Mercy (1979). Before the "What's Luv" singer was even born, Beverly played a WHO doctor that's kidnapped, after being mistaken for a member of the Ghanan, Ashanti tribe. Michael Caine ends up having to save her, but not before she hides behind a bush but can't hide her, well, bush (along with her rack and rump) while doing the stripping before the skinny dipping. As a captive, she further captivates us with some sensational downblouse as she bends over to clean.
