Dana Barron made her debut in He Knows You’re Alone (1980). But if the “he” in question knew she was alone with him, we might have been watching a skin flick rather than a horror thriller. Of course, the cute ingenue was a bit young for such an adventure. Perhaps that’s why she landed the role of adolescent Audrey Griswold in National Lampoon’s Vacation (1983). Dana then traded in the big screen for the small screen with a stint on the daytime soap One Life to Live (1984-1985). During this period, the ambitious actress squeezed in a bra-clad performance in Heaven Help Us (1985). But the busy babe soon bounced back to the boob-tube, where she became a regular on Crossbow (1987-1989), had a recurring role on Beverly Hills, 90210 (1992), and made a guest appearance on HBO’s adult-themed sitcom Dream On (1994). Before she flashed some of her magnificent skin on the CBS Western The Magnificent Seven (1998), Dana resumed making movies. Thank goodness she did, because in addition to donning a bikini and skimpy skivvies in City of Industry (1997), the sexy brunette briefly bared her buns! We love a happy ending. A titillating turn in Python (2000) followed, as did a chance to resume her signature role in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation 2 (2003). Although Dana Hill and Juliette Lewis played the part in National Lampoon’s European Vacation (1985) and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989), respectively, Ms. Barron holds a soft spot in our hearts and a hard-on in our pants!
