Nude: City of Industry 1997 Nude Scenes

The ’60s are known for free love, the ’70s for disco, the ’80s for big hair, and the 1990s for neo-noir thrillers. Following After Dark, My Sweet (1990), Cape Fear (1991), Basic Instinct (1992), Double Jeopardy (1992), Double Obsession (1992), Romeo is Bleeding (1993), The Last Seduction (1994), Devil in a Blue Dress (1995), Bound (1996), L.A. Confidential (1997), and U Turn (1997) came City of Industry (1997). Stylish yet ultra-violent, John Irvin’s R-rated flick tells a story of vengeance and betrayal among a group of jewel thieves. The plot is propelled by former criminal Roy Egan (Harvey Keitel) who comes out of retirement to head up one last jewel heist with his brother Lee (Timothy Hutton), wheelman Skip Kovich (Stephen Dorff), and heavy Jorge Montana (Wade Dominguez). Even though the robbery is a success, Skip’s bra-clad girlfriend Gena (Dana Barron) doesn’t think they made a lot of loot. However, it’s clear Ms. Barron has a lot of cleavage when she dons a slinky bikini! Needless to say, twists and turns ensue. Along the way, we meet Harvey (Elliott Gould), Uncle Luke (François Chau), and ravishing Rachel (Famke Janssen). The film achieves an atmosphere of menace and alienation through its musical score and lowlife locations, both of which come into play during the strip club footage. Also coming into play is sexy stripper Cathi Rose (Lucy Liu) who’ll make you rise when she bares her breasts on stage. If that’s not hot enough, the exotic hottie displays her be-thonged buns. How cheeky!
