Lisa Banes is the only honey on Howard Stern's Son of the Beach who doesn't threaten to burst from a bathing suit; she does, however, threaten to bust out of her bra, and it’s nice to see the sophisticated lady holding her own with the bathing beauties. But before her role as Mayor Anita Massengill, Lisa was already a recognizable character actress in TV and cinema, having appeared in over 80 roles, starting with her debut as mother in the big-screen flick The Hotel New Hampshire (1984) with Rob Lowe and Jodie Foster. She had a meatier role in Cocktail (1988), playing Tom Cruise’s sugar-momma Bonnie, then played Martha Gelhorn in the TV mini-series Hemingway (1988). She joined a cast of hot Hollywood boys as Mallory in Young Guns (1988), starring, well, everybody from Emilio Estevez to Kiefer Sutherland, and flashed some really nice side boob in the process. You’ll probably also remember Lisa from her role as Doreen Morrison in the TV series The Trials of Rosie O’Neill from 1990-1992, as Georgia Winters in Legacy in 1999, Meredith Holt in Girls Club in 2002, Eve McBain in the daytime soap opera One Life to Live in 2004, playing Victoria in Six Feet Under in 2005, as Ellen Collins in Royal Pains from 2010-2016, Speria Balask in The Orville in 2017, the Ranch Director in Nashville in 2018, and Esther Haber in Them in 2021. Lisa also played Marybeth Elliott in the movie Gone Girl (2014) with Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck. Mr. Skin is happy Lisa didn’t get gone, too.
