Teri up your expectations of sexy. Teri Garr tripped the light fantastic as a go-go dancer in about nine Elvis Presley flicks but didn't get her first speaking role until the movie Head (1968). No, it's not what you think--Head is the mind-blowing psychedelic meltdown starring the prefab four--you know, The Monkees, which was written by Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson. Talk about a head scratcher! Her killer gams kicked their way into American living rooms in the '70s thanks to regular appearances on The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour and guest spots on McCloud, but Teri first gave us a look at her full moon in The Moonshine War (1970). You'd need a telescope to see it from the camera's distance, but you know it would be worth the effort. Just don't make yourself go blind! You know from all the...moonshine. Teri's built busty body went on to star as Inga in Young Frankenstein (1974), Bobbie in Oh, God! (1977), and as Richard Dreyfuss' wife in Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977). Teri was even nominated for the "Best Supporting Actress" Oscar for her role in Tootsie (1982). But with all due respect to the Academy (and to the Dustin Hoffman in drag classic) we think the movie you need to see is One from the Heart (1982), which finally exposed something near and dear to our heart--her pint-sized, big-nipped hooters. To glimpse Teri's puffy ci-Garrs was well worth the wait! Teri kept acting in both movies and television, starring in Dumb and Dumber (1994) and Michael (1996), while also playing Phoebe's mom on Friends but mainly stuck to voice roles in her later life, before having to stop acting entirely due to her battle with Multiple Sclerosis, which she was diagnosed with in 2002, a battle she sadly lost just two days prior to Halloween in 2024. To the film community, she will always be known for her comedy work, which is said to have inspired many of today's top funny ladies. But to us, she'll always be the lady who made our schwanzstucker enormous whether dancing with the King or showing us her things.
