Thanks to a great cast (Laura San Giacomo, George Segal, and David Spade) and an intriguing premise, the sitcom Just Shoot Me has been running very successfully since 1997 and is currently in its seventh season. Surprisingly, the show managed to gather a whole shipload of nominations (including Golden Globe nominations for all three aforementioned leads) without actually ever winning one. Bad aim perhaps? The story opens with the sharp-tongued journalist Maya (San Giacomo) being fired because of making a woman cry on a radio show. Since she can’t find a new job there is no other way to earn some money than start working for her father Jack’s (Segal) fashion magazine “Blush.” This of course triggers arguments, not only with Jack but also with his jealous employees. You can’t help but spend most of the series’ runtime staring at Laura San Giacomo’s gigantic (and sadly clothed) Rocky Mountains. The closest Laura ever came to appearing naked in front of Mr. Camera was in the made for TV production The Stand where she can be seen wearing only an extremely well-filled bra. What a rack!!! If you prefer a little bit of actual nudity then check out Rebecca Romijn-Stamos inBrian DePalma’s Femme Fatale since it contains some well-trimmed frontal nudity by the former model.
