In Purple Hearts (1984), Ken Wahl is a handsome young doctor waiting out the Vietnam War so he can get back to the States and make a ton of cash--but that’s before he meets Cheryl Ladd in a nurse’s uniform. Suddenly, he’s agreeing with her on how medicine is a noble pursuit that’s really not about money at all. Yeah, we’re pretty sure what Wahl’s pursuing now. Too bad that the horrors of war interfere with scoring some nurse nookie. Cheryl isn’t about to take off that tight white uniform, anyway, although Annie McEnroe doffs her top in a true display of mercy.
