The popular Spanish actress (and Pedro Almodovar regular) sinks her teeth into the part of Rosa, a mother of two who can’t manage to escape the meddling Jorge (Hector Rotaeta) even with a full set of divorce papers. The bullying husband does get a tad overzealous, but it’s tough to blame him--when he lifts Maura’s skirt during one rough encounter, it’s easy to see how her stockings might be worth stalking.
