Nude: Ready to Wear 1994 Nude Scenes

The world of high fashion is often viewed as a snooty, rarified realm of pomp and very little circumstance; a silly and empty universe populated by self-important but ultimately pointless celebrities whose entire existence is geared toward surface appearances. Don’t expect director Robert Altman’s Ready to Wear (1994) to alter any such preconceived notions. A cutting, comic and almost cruel dissection of the business of appearances, Ready to Wear follows a variety of fashionistas and magazine reporters during Paris Fashion Week. From Anne and Joe, the fashion reporters turned lovers who never seem to make it out of their hotel room (Julia Roberts and Tim Robbins) to Kitty (Kim Basinger), an American cable news journalist trying to get something good on film, Cort (Richard E. Grant) the designer dealing with his favorite model getting knocked up at the worst possible time, and Milo (Stephen Rea), a disgusting photographer who likes to humiliate anyone who begs him to work for them, Ready to Wear constantly proves Fashion Week isn't for the weak. That's not to say some of these models won't have you weak in the knees. Cince birthday suits never go out of style, especially when you're a hottie with an incredible body, there's plenty of nudity in this one. Putting the stacked in the stacked cast, Sophia Loren recreates her Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow (1963) striptease scene nearly half a century later, showing that her jugs have aged quite well in some black lingerie. Tracy Ullman shows her buns in a thong, Sally Kellerman flashes her cans while being photographed, and Katarzyna Figura shows her full figured ass while jiggling her buns in the background of a woman's phone call. But the best scene in this one is when a bunch of models stage some kind of protest by walking the catwalk fully nude! A preggers Ute Lemper, as well as Rossy de Palma, Tara Leon, Eve Salvail, and Georginna Robertson all flash all three B's as they turn the runway into the boobs and bun-way. We're always ready for girls like that to wear nothing!
