The modest Mob drama Under Hellgate Bridge (2000) got lucky when its release was delayed long enough to allow the film to boast of a cast that includes Sopranos regulars Dominic Chianese Jr. and Vincent Pastore. Aussie actor Jonathan LaPaglia also provides a memorable turn as the sleazy NYC mob guy who’s ready to bump off local loser Michael Rodrick. Fortunately, Rodrick’s rod is a real winner with gorgeous old girlfriend Jordan Bayne, who turns this into a touching drama--that’ll get you touching yourself--as she offers herself up to a life of crime in a bid to save her old lover.
